The ophthalmology department in Kasr Al-Aini Hospital, Cairo university is proud to announce the commencement of treating ocular tumours by the Oncology team headed by Professor Dr Hany Hamza. The provided service aims to treat all intraocular tumours such as choroidal melanoma and choroida hemangioma as well as pediatric ocular tumours such as retinoblastoma.
The treatment service includes surgical management, brachytherapy using radioactive plaques, transpupillary thermotherapy and chemotherapy.
Patients are welcome to our general ophthalmology outpatient clinics from Saturday to Thursday for a complete work-up in preparation for receiving the appropriate treatment.
